Abstract
This article highlights the model of religious tolerance during the six-century historical period of the Ottoman Caliphate. The article comparatively analyzes historical facts, showcasing how the Ottoman Caliphate exemplified peace by adhering to Sharia principles and demonstrating tolerance toward followers of other religions in its policies. The tolerance extend- ed to other religious communities contributed to systematizing the Dar al-Sulh (modern secular system) as the Caliphate’s territory expanded. Thus, it is emphasized that the Ottoman Caliphate successfully provided a model for the global secular system.
